Statutory Executive Board

The Board is responsible for:

  • Sponsoring the implementation of risk management in their respective areas;
  • Prioritizing risks based on impact and probability to establish an individual comparison ;
  • Monitoring key indicators and reporting deviations to the Audit Committee.
  • Promoting the culture of risk management throughout the company through incentives and variable compensation policies.

Fernando Boscolo CEO

He holds a degree in production engineering from the Faculty of Industrial Engineering (FEI) with specialization in general administration (AMP) from IESE, Fernando began his career at Natura Co. as a trainee in 2001, working in the logistics and commercial areas until 2008. From 2008 to 2011, he was Director of Operations at Jequiti cosmetics. From 2011 to 2012 he was CEO of Agua de Cheiro before returning to Natura as General Manager of Distribution, where he remained until the end of 2014, when he joined Privalia.

With an MBA in marketing and administration from ESPM and in the supply chain from Coppead UFRJ, he is currently a member of the Young Presidents’ Association, a board member at Auxiliadora Predial, and CEO of Privalia Brasil.

John Salén CFO / IRO

He holds a degree in business administration from IBMEC, Rio de Janeiro, a diploma from Wharton (University of Pennsylvania) from its Executive Development Program, and a diploma from Harvard OPM from the Owner President & Management course. He is a senior finance executive and has worked at investment banks and investment funds, with experience in Private Equity and a stint in a listed real estate company and national retail companies. He has been in executive leadership positions since 2009 in Treasury, Controllership, Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Credit and Collection, Structured Operations (debt, capital, and project financing), M&A, and Investor Relations. His has experience at large companies, such as Shell Brasil, Banco BTG Pactual, PDG, TACO, and Mr. Cat (invested in by HIG Capital). He is currently CFO and Executive Director of Privalia Brasil.

Jordão Tomas de Resende Finance Director

He holds a degree in business administration from the University of Sao Paulo (USP), and a graduate degree from FIA. Prior to joining Privalia, he worked at SEB Sistema Educacional Brasileira from February 2010 to October 2010; at Construtora Stefani from January 2011 to December 2011 (as a control analyst), and from January 2012 to October 2012 (as financial coordinator); and at Ornare, as control analyst from October 2012 to May 2014. He joined Privalia in 2014 and was on the control team from June 2014 to June 2018, before becoming Finance Director in June 2018.

Alan Barsi COO

A graduate of the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon in Industrial Engineering, Alan Barsi has extensive experience in logistics, joining Ambev in the trainee program where he stayed for 8 years and migrating to Privalia in 2018, where he is now responsible for the entire an operations area, with a time of more than 100 internal employees, and managing an external/outsourced time, composed of more than 1,000 people.

Luciana Iodice CMO

Graduated from ESPM in Advertising and Marketing, Luciana Iodice has over 19 years of experience, including the position of CMO at Privalia, and Head of Marketing at Via Varejo – owner of the brands Casas Bahia and Pontofrio – Havas (Brazil and Spain), Catho and eHarmony, in addition to international experience, working in strategic planning for clients in Europe, North America and Latin America.

Diego Gamboa CTO

With 19 years of experience, Diego Gamboa has been with Privalia for 7 years allowing Grupo Privalia and Vente Privee to share B2C and B2B within companies that manage up to 90% of all B2C orders for Privalia Spain and Italy in 3 years from of an initial MVP.

Carolina Prado CPO

Graduated from Universidade Santa Úrsula in Psychology, with an MBA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas in Human Resources Management, Carolina Prado has over 19 years of experience in the development and HR sector, from companies such as L’oreal, Rede Globo and Pernod Ricard ao throughout his career. He is currently CHRO at Privalia.

André Viana CCO

Graduated in Marketing from Universidade Nove de Julho, with an MBA in business management from FIA – Business School, André Viana has vast commercial experience, having worked at Whirlpool Latin America, where he was responsible for the commercial area, and is currently Commercial and Privalia Planning Director .

Board of Directors

Responsible for promoting an ethical culture that contributes to mitigating existing risks, as well as reviewing and approving the Code of Ethics and risk management policy and investigating evidence of involvement by any member of the Audit Committee in any complaints filed via the Integrity Channel.

Fabio Bonfá

He holds a degree in advertising and marketing from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas, with a diploma in entrepreneurship from Babson College (USA) and Business Management from the Dom Cabral Foundation. He has more than 15 years’ experience in Brazilian and international digital retail. He was part of the Submarino.com team in the early 2000s until the IPO in 2006, and after the integration with Americanas.com creating B2W. After leaving B2W, he helped manage e-commerce operations for companies such as Extra.com, Walmart.com (in Brazil), and Centauro.com.

In 2012 he became Director-General at Privalia do Brasil, where he remained until mid-2017, when he was transferred to lead Veepee and Privalia’s operations in Italy. He currently serves as Deputy CEO for the entire Veepee group in ten European countries and Brazil, based in Milan.
